The short version
We do not collect any personal data. There are no developer servers, accounts, analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting. The app never sends data to any server we operate. The only data that leaves your device goes through two Apple services, iCloud and Game Center, and we cannot see it.
What we collect
Nothing. Your game progress stays on your device, or syncs between your own devices through your iCloud account as described below.
On-device AI (ARIA)
On iOS 26 and later, ARIA uses Apple Foundation Models for on-device inference. All inference runs locally on your device using Apple's framework. No game state, board data, or ARIA responses are sent to any server — by us or by Apple — as part of normal gameplay. Apple's own privacy policy governs the Foundation Models framework.
iCloud sync
If you are signed in to iCloud, the app syncs game progress between your devices using iCloud key-value storage. The synced data is limited to best mission scores, your daily incident streak and last-played day, Field Ops progress (unlocked and completed levels, last level played), and Field Ops credits. Settings such as audio volume stay on the device. This data is stored by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, and we cannot access it. To turn off sync, sign out of iCloud or turn off iCloud for Zero Day Command in iOS Settings.
Game Center
Game Center is off until you turn it on. The app asks once at first launch, and you can change your choice at any time in the in-game Settings. When it is on, the app submits leaderboard scores (operations cleared, daily streak, daily score, credit bank) and achievements to Game Center. Game Center shows your nickname and scores to other players according to your Game Center settings, under Apple's privacy policy.
Game saves and data
Game saves and settings are stored on your device. If you use iCloud Backup, your device backup is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Third-party SDKs
Zero Day Command uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only frameworks used are Apple's own system frameworks.
Children
Zero Day Command is rated 4+ on the App Store. We collect no data from anyone, including children. Game Center has its own parental controls under Screen Time.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
